BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Things went smoothly Friday, at Best Buy on Niagara Falls Boulevard.
Shoppers were burning off the pumpkin pie while hunting for door buster deals
When News 4 came to Best Buy at 4 a.m, the line was already down the block.
Some of the shoppers waited all night for those door buster sales.
Some waited even longer. Those in the front of the line were there since 11 a.m. Thursday.
"You don't wanna know what I did for the bathroom," said Sam Schmidt, who was first in line.
News 4 asked, "And what about food?"
"I just ran to Tim Horton and in the store," said Schmidt.
"I had the assistance of somebody watching my spot so that I could run home eat and come back," said Lorraine, who was second in line.
Once the doors opened the store was flooded with shoppers looking for deals.
This year was the first year that Best Buy offered customers the chance to save on some of those door busters like TVs online, thinking not as many people would have to wait in the cold. But they still did.
Jeanie Green waited in line since 10 p.m. Thursday.
While Black Friday is a ritual for some., for others, this was the first and last time.
Shopper Kevin McTyere said, "We've been in the car for like three and a half hours."
Would they do it again?
"Probably not, I'll probably have a plan if anything and come here knowing what I want to buy but other than that, no," said McTyere.
