BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - So far, stormy weather isn't dampening the spirits for Wingfest this Labor Day weekend.

Organizers say 45 tons of chicken wings have been ordered for the annual celebration at Coca-Cola Field. That's the largest order known on record!

All weekend, Buffalo's signature delicacy will fly in the spotlight. The festival will climax with a head-to-head battle against current U.S. chicken wing eating champion, Sonya Thomas, on Sunday. And remember to send us your Wingfest pictures!
