They give people a warm meal and warm clothes, a priceless service for those in dire need of help.
Santora said, "I talk to them every night. I'm here five nights a week, six nights a week, so and most of them are pretty nice people they just wanna talk sit down and have coffee."
People looking for refuge from the bone-chilling temperatures can stay in a warm bed at the City Mission.
Their need for donations is just as great.
City Mission Case Manager David Booker said, "We always need clothing, sheets, pillows, blankets, pillows, comforters, always in need."
The City Mission will offer warm cots and hot meals Monday from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. Tuesday, as City Mission officials again expect temperatures to dip below ten degrees.
City Mission officials always welcome those without a warm place to stay at anytime.
