BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Did you know that Buffalo's wing festival has a Hall of "Flame?"

Friday night's honorees include John Dandes, President of Rich Baseball Operations, which hosts the festival at Coca-Cola Field, and Wingstop Restaurants founder Antonio Swad. But things will really get hot when the wing eating competition begins.

Buffalo Wing King Drew Cerza said, "A lot of excitement with Joey Chestnut coming in, through Pepto Bismol being here, the number one eater in the world. It's really exciting because he's gonna be taking on little Sonja Thomas who's won the last three years United States chicken wing championship, so it's like a David versus Goliath battle."

Cerza has shipped in 45 tons of wings along with some antacid for the festival, running Saturday and Sunday at Coca-Cola Field, rain or shine.
