BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - It's the best Christmas gift any family could ask for.

Clare and Allen Zgaljardic flew halfway around the world to adopt their 6-month-old daughter Sophie from Colombia. The adoption process took about two years. Monday night, the family of three is finally all together at home in Buffalo for the first time.

Allen said, "It was a dream come true for Clare and myself. This experience, we feel like we're on "Cloud 9" Now she gets to meet how many people back in the United States love her, that she didn't know about."

Sophie was adopted through Baker Victory Services with the support of Families of Fana.
