Adventurers to kayak down Erie Canal

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Tuesday marked the kick off of the "I Love New York" Spare Seat Expedition.

World renowned kayakers Richard Harpham and Glenn Charles will make history by traveling 500-miles along the historic Erie Canal, beginning at Canalside in Buffalo. Their final destination is the Hudson River and eventually the Statue of Liberty.

The adventurers will catalog their journey online, and you can follow along!
