BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Buffalo grandma is glad she called News 4.
Last month, Call 4 Action's Al Vaughters reported on Shirley Lomas, who landed on the wrong side of the law when her Allstate car insurance was mistakenly canceled. An agent failed to send in her payments to the company.
Lomas got three traffic tickets connected to the error and had her license revoked. But thanks to our investigation, Allstate has agreed to pay for their mistake.
"Allstate was very wonderful through this whole thing. They've agreed to pay for everything and were very apologetic," Lomas said.
Lomas says Allstate will take action against the agent.
