BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Buffalo art gallery held a tea party for mothers on Sunday.
Benjamin Gallery on Elmwood Avenue opened its doors for the special event. The owners offered teas and other drinks, along with scones and other tasty pastries.
While inside, visitors could take in the work of artist Jeanette Blair, who's painted in and around Buffalo for more than 70-years.
Gallery co-director Emily Tucker said, " We're showing pieces from 1940 all the way until 2000, when she lost her eyesight and was no longer able to paint. Most of these scenes are of Buffalo, I mean they're just amazing. Just capturing the essence of Buffalo from 1940 up to today."
Jeanette Blair's husband, Robert Blair, was also a prominent painter.
