Auditions for Shakespeare shows begin

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Auditions to put on the best show possible on a stage in Buffalo's Delaware Park this summer began Sunday.

The Market Arcade Building is hosting auditions for the 2013 season of Shakespeare in Delaware Park.

Actors who made appointments are trying out for roles in Hamlet and Measure for Measure.

Most of those who land spots on stage come from the western New York area.

The curtain rises for the 38th season of Shakespeare in the Park on June 20th.
