Bills fan hit by cab after game dies

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Buffalo Bills fan from Canada who was seriously injured after a Thursday night game in November has died.

CHCH Television is reporting that Rob Sitter of Hamilton, Ontario passed away Sunday night. Sitter had been hospitalized since November 15 when he was hit by a cab while crossing Southwestern Boulevard.

News 4's Rich Newberg spoke with Sitter's family last month after doctors had upgraded his condition from critical to serious. This is what his common-law wife told News 4 at the time:

Kimberly Welsh said, "He opened his eyes for me today. He wants to come home."

A memorial service for Sitter will take place Tuesday night in Hamilton.
