BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - An appreciation for art is the backbone of a program that brought local high school students to Shea's on Tuesday.

The Stanley G. Falk School took a behind-the-scenes tour of the facility as part of Artventure. Buffalo Bills linebacker Bryan Scott helped launch the program.

"When I was growing up the arts are something that kept me well-balanced. Outside of playing sports I was in choir and jazz band. It's so important and there's an erosion of art education in school so I'm just trying to bring that back," Scott explained.

The Artventure program takes students to art and music venues in the Buffalo area to help them develop a deeper appreciation and understanding for the arts.
