BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Buffalo Bills Safety George Wilson is doing his part to ease some of the stress this time of the year puts on families in need.
Monday night, the Northwest Buffalo Community Center hosted Wilson's third annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. This was all made possible through Wilson's Safety Foundation, which is dedicated to helping inner-city children get the support they need to stay on track.
"It's just a great opportunity for me to share my blessings with the Buffalo community. We started out three years ago with around 100 families and now we've grown to over 150 families. So the more I'm continuing to being blessed the more I'm willing to share my blessings with others," Wilson said.
Each family received a turkey and 'boxes of love' filled with mashed potatoes, stuffing and tasty desserts.
