BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Buffalo filmmaker Peter McGennis premiered his latest feature film Wednesday night at the Market Arcade.

"Queen City" stars Vivica A. Fox in a story that celebrates the gritty struggle of two detectives and a jazz singer in the wake of steel plant closings. The film, shot entirely on location, re-created Buffalo's Little Harlem nightclub, and features local landmarks including the Hotel Lafayette, Colored Musicians' Club and Central Terminal.

McGennis has already started shooting around the city for his next film: "Bubble Girl."
