BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Three South Buffalo siblings celebrated a happy, happy, happy birthday Thursday night.

The triplets celebrated their 65th birthday at a surprise party surrounded by family and friends. Phyllis Dunning, Dick Marini and Anne Cawthard were born in Sisters Hospital in 1948. News reports at the time called them the first surviving set of triplets born in Buffalo, and their progress was followed for a few years to come.

The three spoke to News 4 and said being triplets is the best thing in the world, because you always have a best friend. But they joked, you also always have someone to fight with, especially if you all share one bathroom!
