BUFFALO, NY - Canisius College and the Buffalo Sabres organization are reportedly in talks about possibly building a shared one or two rink hockey rink at the the corner of Main and E. Delevan Avenue.
The Canisius newspaper, The Griffin , reports that the rinks would serve as a Sabres practice facility and would be built on the college campus. The rinks would be built on the site of the elevated parking lot at the corner.

The project is still in the early stages but estimates put a pricetag on it of more than $20 million. There is no word on how the college and the Sabres would split the cost.
