BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Polonia is revving up with Dyngus Day excitement. Friday, crews hoisted the shell of a Mini Cooper on the side of the historic Central Terminal.
The project is aimed at raising money for the terminal's restoration.
Dyngus Day will be held there on April 1, the day after Easter. Organizers have been trying to get CNN's Anderson Cooper to join the festivities, after that laughing fit he had on the air while talking about Dyngus Day.
Cooper, who says he was not laughing at the event, says he will not make the festivities.
Meantime, you can buy raffle tickets to win that Mini Cooper. Tickets are $10 each and will be sold during the Dyngus Day party on April 1.
