City OKs Panera in Elmwood Village

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The cash registers could soon be ringing at a Panera Bread in Buffalo's Elmwood Village.

On Wednesday, the Common Council approved plans that would see the national chain open a restaurant in space that's now home to Blockbuster. There's no firm timetable for when Panera may open.
