Dad crashes racing to daughter's crash

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Witnesses in North Buffalo say a woman crashed her car into the Dots store in the Great Arrow Plaza on Delaware Avenue around 5:30 Monday night.

The impact smashed some windows, but no one was hurt. Meanwhile, police say the father of the driver in the crash at Dots was racing to the scene when he got into an accident himself a few blocks away.

Witness say he ran a red light and hit another car at the intersection of Delaware and Amherst. The impact damaged several cars parked at a used car lot on that corner.
