BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - New plans for canalside are drawing a lot of attention in downtown Buffalo.

A parcel of land, right next to the Webster Block, could get a $5 million makeover. The land sits near former Donovan State Office building.

Plans call for arching fountains, greenspace and a picturesque plaza for pedestrians. The Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation planned to appear before the City Planning Board on Tuesday to show off the design.
