BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A holiday full of traditions has a new event to celebrate.
Buffalo's Larkin Square opened up for a new St. Patrick's Day party it calls "Live at O'Larkin." The free party includes Irish dancers, the Greater Buffalo Firefighters Pipes and Drums and local bands. There's also drinks and Irish-themed food.
Larkin Square Director O'Fun Leslie Zemsky said, "Corned beef bombers, kielbasa and baked beans, I think we have potato soup."
This event kicks off a weekend of St. Patrick's day celebrations, including a parade through the Old First Ward Saturday that kicks off at noon and the big parade on Delaware Avenue Sunday at 2 p.m., which features several personalities from News 4.
