BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Work on Main Street in Buffalo on Saturday morning will interrupt some Metro rail service.

From about 7 a.m. until noon, trains will operate underground only. Service on the surface section of the Metro rail on Main Street will be shut down to allow demolition work, which is needed to help return auto traffic to the city's theater district.

Bus service will carry passengers between the Allen Medical Campus and Erie Canal Harbor stations.
