National Garden Fest takes top honor

TORONTO, ONT. (WIVB) - An international organization says Buffalo's "National Garden Festival" is the best of the best.
The Garden Tourism Conference recognized the festival as "Promotion of the Year." The garden festival in Buffalo includes bus tours, workshops and America's largest garden walk through the Queen City.
Festival director Sally Cunningham, who shares her gardening wisdom every Sunday on Weekend WakeUp!, was among those on hand to receive this honor in Toronto.
This year's National Garden Festival will feature 14 garden walks.
