BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - In a few years, Buffalo's Women and Children's Hospital will be moving, leaving questions about what will happen to its current home.

State Assemblyman Sean Ryan hosted a community meeting Thursday night at Lafayette Presbyterian Church on the west side. He listened to neighbors' ideas on the best way to re-use the large building on Bryant Street.

"We view Children's as a good opportunity. It's a huge site. It's in the middle of a very strong and vibrant neighborhood.  e want to be able to build off that site, the strength of the whole area," Ryan said.

The hospital moves to the downtown medical campus in the fall of 2015.
