BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A world-renowned artist is helping paint a brighter future for children.

Philip Burke usually sketches for Rolling Stone magazine and the New Yorker. But on Thursday, his canvas was a giant golf ball inside the Admar Supply Store in Buffalo.

Burke painted Sabres goaltender Ryan Miller. The work will be part of the Golf on Parade Project and will be used as part of a scavenger hunt that will promote the PGA Championship taking place in Rochester next August.

About 32 of these giant golf balls will go on sale after the scavenger hunt. Some of the proceeds will go to several local charities for children in western New York.
