BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Five Basset Hound puppies from Texas are getting a second chance in western New York.
An elderly breeder in Texas was going out of business and 31 puppies were given up to a rescue organization. Five of those puppies arrived in western New York on Saturday. They will be spending time in foster care, until they are adopted.
ABC Basset Hound Rescue vice chair Shelly Gordon said, "They're on the road to a better life. They're going to take care of them. They've all been spayed, neutered, no more fleas. Now they just have to get ready for the snow here."
If you are interested in adopting one of these Basset Hounds, follow this link.
