BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Plans for a new skate park in Buffalo are rolling right along.
Wednesday night, the community got a first look at a detailed plan for the first phase of the park. A master plan for the LaSalle Park skate plaza was unveiled at last month's meeting. The design firm is now looking for skater input on the project.
Landscape architect Bill Gurney said, "We're here showing the next evolution of the concept design, again to get some feedback and comments so that we can further massage it, tweak it, and make it even better."
The project will go to bid sometime this winter, with opening targeted for next summer.
