BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - New York State is giving a boost to a company that will bring several dozen jobs to Buffalo.
Buffalo Out-Front Metal Works will receive up to $450,000 in Excelsior tax credits from the state. The manufacturer will also receive $61,000 in sales tax abatements through the Erie County IPA. The company says they plan on creating 57 new jobs and generate more than two-million dollars in annual payroll wages.
Sen. Mark Grisanti said, "He's going to bring manufacturing business expertise, and experience to this region. He is going to save this facility from closing. It's going to revitalize the east side of Buffalo."
The Canadian-owned company is replacing the Buffalo Metal Fabricating, which had been on the verge of closing.
