Wegmans gets OK for wine, liquor store

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A local Wegmans store is gearing up for a new addition.
The grocery store chain will open a wine and liquor store at its Amherst Street location now that the city planning board has given the plan the green light.
The store will be built on a grassy area between Amherst Street and Wegmans' parking lot. Construction is set to begin in the fall.
