Work begins on HARBORcenter in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Work has begun at one of Buffalo's biggest and most promising development projects in years.

The HARBORcenter  project, also called "hockey heaven," will bring a 200-room hotel, retail space and two new hockey rinks to the Webster Block.

Although crews started working Friday, the official groundbreaking event is scheduled within the next few weeks.
