CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB) - The crash of Flight 3407 is prompting new efforts to improve air safety.

Senator Chuck Schumer says new safety guidelines are being held up because airlines are objecting about the potential costs. The FAA pushed for stricter safety standards after the NTSB ruled pilot error as the cause of the Clarence Center Crash.
