TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) - There's more trouble for the embattled owner of the Tonawanda Coke Plant.
J.D. Crane has reportedly been ordered to shut down his coke plant in Erie, Pennsylvania. Regulators say he violated the state's air quality laws. The Tonawanda Plant has been under fire for years with nearby residents claiming its toxic emissions have been making them sick.
Authorities raided the local plant late last year.
