Falls Memorial Center fires employees
Some workers left jobless for the new year

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) - Some two dozen employees of Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center will ring in the new year without jobs.
CEO Joe Ruffalo blames cuts in state and federal funding, combined with changes in the health care marketplace. The layoffs account for three percent of the workforce at Memorial.
