Fire sends tower of black smoke skyward

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Fire destroyed an industrial building on Elmwood Avenue near Hertel in north Buffalo.
Fire crews were standing on the roof of adjacent buildings to try and quash the flames, but had to pull back as the intensity increased.
