ROCHESTER, NY - Rochester billionaire and owner of the Buffalo Sabres, Tom Golisano has donated $10.2 million to the Golisano Foundation, an organization he founded back in 1985. The foundation supports people with developmental disabilities.
This is the largest donation Golisano has made to any organization since he donated $14 million to Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong.
Golisano, who found Paychex Inc., has been a significant benefactor to charity. In October 2008, he granted $10 million to Niagara University for construction of a science building.
