Rochester billionaire and owner of the Buffalo Sabres, Tom Golisano has donated $10.2 million to the Golisano Foundation , an organization he founded back in 1985. The foundation supports people with developmental disabilities.
This is the largest donation Golisano has made to any organization since he donated $14 million to Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong.
Golisano, who found Paychex Inc., has been a significant benefactor to charity. In October 2008, he granted $10 million to Niagara University for construction of a science building.
