BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - With resumes in hand, eager job seekers flooded a queen city community center.
Approximately 700 people headed to this Spring job fair at the Pratt-Willert Community Center in Buffalo. Senator Antoine Thompson says he hosted the event so job hunters and potential employers could meet face-to-face.
Sen. Thompson said, "It's really helpful when they get the chance to see people face-to-face, talk about their credentials, find out about real opportunities."
Senator Thompson says his office will host a second employment fair in August.
