Local CVS drugstores won’t be getting rid of their Kodak picture kiosks and dry photo labs anytime soon.

Eastman Kodak Co. and the pharmacy chain have signed a new long-term agreement keeping Kodak as the chain’s provider of photo processing systems.

Financial terms of the agreement were not released.

CVS has 20 stores in the Rochester region. CVS Caremark Corp. operates more than 6,900 CVS and Longs Drugs stores nationwide.

According to Kodak, CVS plans to expand the number of Kodak Adaptive Picture Exchange dry labs it has in stores and install Kodak’s G4X consumer kiosks.
