BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - It's a tough transition, but a new organization is now lending a helping hand to Erie County residents recently released from prison.
The Center for Employment Opportunities, a non-profit organization based out of New York City, announced the opening of CEO Buffalo. The program works with formerly incarcerated people, helping them gain basic work skills.
"We believe at CEO that anyone who wants a job has the support they need to get a job and to have a meaningful connection to the labor market and that's our mission and that's all we do."
CEO Buffalo is located at 170 Franklin Street in Buffalo.
