BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - At Roswell Park Cancer Institute, the "boss" has gone Bald for Bucks. As he underwent the change, Dr. Donald Trump got encouragement from another famous Trump.

Dr. Trump, President and CEO of Roswell Park, and "The Donald," as in the well-known Donald Trump, share more than just the same name.

"Trump's contribution has put us well over $40,000 for this round of fundraising," said Dr. Trump.

They share a vision of a cancer-free world.

Dr. Trump and many other Roswell employees faced the clippers together for the Goin' Bald for Bucks Campaign.

"I have, with the help of Trump's Troops, reached the goal of having to eliminate my facial and head hair," said Dr. Trump.

This will be the first time Dr. Trump will be seen without a moustache since he was in medical school.

Dr. Trump said, "We are remembering those passed, honoring those who are going through cancer treatment now, and looking forward to a time we won't have to do cancer treatment."

Since 2002, Goin' Bald Bucks has raised more than $600,000 for Roswell Park.

Anthony George, a teacher at Lakeshore High School, said, "When I walked into class and told my students I was going to shave my head for my sister, my students volunteered to do the same. We started with one school, 36 students, $3,600. Now we're up to 25 schools, $600,000 and hundreds, if not thousands, of bald teenagers walking around Lake Shore."

Donald Trump said, "I heard about the Roswell Park Cancer Institute through a friend of mine who has a big problem with his son. The son was diagnosed with cancer and he called me and he said, "Is there any way you can speak?" and he looked at me, believe it or not, like Donald L. Trump and I'm Donald J. Trump, but I have been hearing about the doctor for many years."

One in three women and one in two men will be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime and supporting organizations like this may lead us closer to a cure. If you want to contribute to Goin' Bald for Bucks just head to bald4bucks.org .
