10 arrested in Orleans Co. drug raids

ALBION, N.Y. (WIVB) - After three months of investigating the sale and distribution of crack cocaine in Albion, the Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force arrested 10 people on February 1st.

The task force along with Albion Police, the Orleans County Sheriff's Office and the Orleans County Multi-Agency SWAT Team searched two apartments on East Bank Street.

Below is a list of those they arrested and what charges they will face:

-Christopher Mitchell, 26, of Albion was arrested and charged with three counts of third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and three counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

-Tony Thompson, 45, of Albion was arrested and charged with three counts of third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and three counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

-Anthony Barber, 56, of Albion was arrested and charged with two counts of third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

-Alexandra Ivy, 34, of Albion was arrested and charged with third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of unlawful sale of un-taxed cigarettes.

-Charles Ingram, 56, of Albion was arrested and charged with third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

-Benith White, 42, of Albion was arrested and charged with third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

-James Crews, 55, of Albion was charged with eight counts of first degree criminal nuisance.

-Mac Howard, 67, of Albion was charged with one count of first degree criminal nuisance and one count of unlawful sale of alcohol.

-J.W. Hardy, III, 25, of Albion was charged unlawful possession of marijuana.

-A 17-year-old was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Authorities say further charges and arrests are pending.
