23-year-old charged under Leandra's Law

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - A 23-year-old man is facing felony DWI charges after police say he crashed his vehicle with two kids in his car.
On Monday, just before 6 p.m., Orchard Park Police were called to Rt. 219 to respond to a vehicle off the roadway. Officers say Robert Kelsey was driving intoxicated with children aged 10 and 13 in the car. Police say Kelsey's BAC was .17 percent.
Kelsey was arrested and charged with felony DWI under Leandra's Law. Police say he was also driving with a suspended license.
Kelsey was released on $250 bail and is due back in court later this month. Child Protective Services was notified about the incident.
