AMITY, N.Y. (WIVB) - Three students have been arrested by State Police, who say they had pills while on the Belmont BOCES Campus.
Troopers say Brittany Main and Joshua Smith had multiple hydrocodone pills in their possession. Their arrests led to Heidi Ellis being charged. Troopers say she provided Main and Smith with the pills.
Main and Smith are both charged with fifth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Ellis is charged with two counts each of fifth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and criminal sale of a controlled substance on school grounds.
State Police worked with the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force to make these arrests. All three suspects were arraigned and released into the custody of their parents.
