HARTLAND, N.Y. (WIVB) - Police recovered 341 marijuana plants and some high-powered weapons from a home in Niagara County on Wednesday.
The Niagara County Drug Task Force and Customs and Border Protection, along with sheriff's deputies, executed a search warrant Wednesday morning at a home on Drum Road and arrested 55-year-old Paul Guzock. Authorities say aside from the marijuana plants, 62 of which were inside the home, they found a number of loaded weapons, including an AR-15 rifle, a shotgun and a handgun.
Guzock has been charged with first degree criminal possession of marijuana, fourth degree criminal possession of a firearm, and unlawfully growing marijuana.
He is being held in the Niagara County Jail on $50,000 bail.
