BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The case surrounding the prime suspect in the City Grill massacre returned to court on Wednesday.
Riccardo McCray was due to appear for an evidence suppression hearing in Buffalo Wednesday afternoon. McCray is accused of killing four people and wounding four others outside the City Grill on Main Street downtown last August.
The hearing revealed that Buffalo Police put McCray into a photo lineup with six other men. Four witnesses identified McCray. One said they saw him start a fight inside of City Grill. Another said they watched him start a fight outside the restaurant. A third said they saw him pull a gun. And a fourth witness said they saw him fire a gun.
You may recall he later surrendered to News 4 senior correspondent Rich Newberg at our studios in north Buffalo. McCray remains locked up. His trial date has been set for March 14.
