NIAGARA FALLS, NY - A Maryland man wanted for murder has been arrested in Canada and returned to the United States. U.S. authorities took custody of 46-year-old Benjamin Moore at a
Niagara Falls border crossing Friday following a traffic stop Monday by police across the border.

Moore is wanted by the St. Mary's County sheriff's department in connection with the death of Devon Andrea Baker. The 37-year-old had been missing more than a week when a fisherman found her body Sunday in a brook near a Princeton, N.J., country club.

Customs and Border Protection agents preserved Moore's vehicle as a possible crime scene.

Moore, of Lexington Park, Md., is awaiting extradition to his home state, where he's charged with second-degree murder. Federal authorities say they don't know if has a lawyer.
