ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - Police in Rochester say they're investigating the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy.
Officials tell local media outlets that officers responding to a report of a shooting around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday found the teen on a street on the city's east side.
Police say the boy had been shot several times in the torso. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after midnight.
Police remain at the scene of the shooting Thursday morning as investigation continues.
