WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - A husband and wife from Williamsville were sentenced on Monday for money laundering and cheating on their taxes.
The U.S. Attorney's office reports Ralph Guastaferro, Jr. and his wife, Karen, were sentenced on separate charges. Ralph was convicted of money laundering and will spend 24 months behind bars. He was also find $100,000. His wife, Karen, was convicted of failing to collect and pay over taxes. She will be on probation for three years, including six months home confinement, and must pay the IRS $56,670.58.

Prosecutors say the Ralph operated Eclipse Processing, Inc. in his scheme to hide funds involving $1.2 million. Karen operated Eclipse Glass Tinting, Inc. and lied about the number of employees she had working for her and how much she paid her employees.
