BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A debt collector known as "Bags O' Money" will now be paying a debt to society, behind bars.
State Supreme Court Justice William Boller sentenced Tobias Boyland to up to 15 years in state prison for weapons possession. Several weapons were found during a search of his home and business last June.
Justice Boller said, "The message should go out to the youth in the neighborhoods that felons are not supposed to be possessing handguns and that's a very important fact that I also hope they get from this."
"I just want the kids to know, what happen when you get in trouble, so think before, you know, you do bad things," said a friend of Boyland's.
Boyland will also have to pay more than $1,300 in fines.
