East side gunfire sends 3 to ECMC

BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) - Gunfire erupted in Buffalo overnight sending three people to the hospital.

This morning, all three remain at ECMC.

It's believed that two of the victims arrived at ECMC on their own while the third victim was brought by an ambulance.

Buffalo police were called to the area of Main Street and East Oakwood Place just after 1 a.m. this morning. When officers arrived,, they found one victim.

Police were investigating at least two scenes - one on Main street, the other around the block on East Oakwood.

Officers were also called to ECMC where two other victims apparently walked into the hospital with gunshot wounds from the same shooting.

The victims' injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A Buffalo Police spokesman told News 4's Jericka Duncan that the shootings happened at a party at 2392 Main St. but it's unclear why the victims were targeted. Police have not said if they have any suspects or what may have led to the triple shooting.

Buffalo Police have identified two of the victims as David Chiles, 26, in fair condition, Timothy Lamar, 23, who in stable condition and Jermey Hollis, 23, who is in stable condition.
