BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A former head of a Buffalo art gallery accused of possessing child pornography has faced a judge Tuesday.
Attorney Paul Cambria, who is representing Lawrence Brose, has now retained a computer expert to review the 1,500 images of child pornography found on Brose's computer.
Brose stepped down from his role as the Executive Director of the CEPA Gallery. According to a spokesman for the gallery, he stepped down on his own and he was not pushed out of that position.
Tuesday in court, he and his attorney were granted 120 days to prepare for their next court date, which is July 9th.
As to whether his client would be open to a plea deal on these federal charges, Paul Cambria says he intends to clear his client's name in court.
Cambria said, "We're in the beginning stage of our investigation, I'm confident as to what we're determining, and we'll play it out in the courtroom."
