Hochul says terrorism still a threat

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The man in line to become western New York's top prosecutor says we can not let down our guard against terrorism.

William Hochul, who's expected to be confirmed as U.S. Attorney for the Western District of New York, told graduates of the FBI's Citizens Academy that everyone needs to stay vigilant.

"If you happen to be within your perhaps virtual networking communities, noticing there's something that just doesn't seem right, chances are the FBI is not able to itself have monitored it. By all means please provide that lead to the FBI and the Joint Terrorism Task Force," said Hochul.

The full Senate is expected to confirm Hochul's nomination soon.
